Designed to tailor grind performance and flavour to your brewing style, the DF54 Burrs by Better Burrs are a direct upgrade for the DF54 Grinder, available in three distinct configurations. Each 54mm flat burr set uses a different geometry, changing how the coffee grinds, flows and ultimately tastes in the cup depending on your preferred brew method.
Stainless Steel Multipurpose Burrs
The standard stainless steel multipurpose burrs are designed for consistent, stable grinding across different setups. They produce a balanced particle distribution with enough fines to support body and texture, making them well suited to milk-based and everyday espresso. More forgiving when dialling in, they handle a wide range of coffees without requiring constant adjustment.
Red Titanium Multipurpose Burrs
The Red Titanium burrs use a coated surface and a more aggressive cutting profile, improving grinding efficiency and reducing resistance through the grind. This produces a slightly cleaner particle distribution, helping highlight clarity and separation in the cup while maintaining enough structure for espresso. Best suited to users chasing more definition and precision from their shots.
Stainless Steel Brew Burrs
The filter brew burrs use a different geometry designed to reduce fines and promote a more uniform grind at coarser settings. This results in higher clarity, lighter body and improved separation in the cup, making them better suited to pour over and filter brewing. While capable of grinding for espresso, they are less forgiving at finer settings and generally better matched to filter-focused use.

Alternative Brewing, and its agents/delivery partners associated with the delivery of your parcel, do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage that may result from you providing Authority to Leave for your delivery. You agree to release Alternative Brewing from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, losses, costs and expenses, including financial and other consequential losses, made, suffered or incurred by you or any other person or entity as a result of your election to choose Authority to Leave for your delivery.
If you do not provide Alternative Brewing Authority to Leave for your delivery, you will have to be at your premises in order for the delivery to occur.
