The Speciality Coffee Association of America (SCAA) was established in 1982 by coffee professionals seeking a set of standards for coffee trade around the world. The SCAA produces some of the highest quality educational material which is used industry wide to produce a standard for speciality coffee trade. The SCAA Flavour Wheel has allowed the industry to categorise coffee flavours to allow easier understanding for coffee drinkers of the expected flavours. Coffee education through the SCAA books and posters is a great way to learn more about speciality coffee.
