High-End Espresso Workflow at Home
The Matrix uses independent brew and steam boilers to allow simultaneous espresso extraction and milk steaming without affecting temperature stability between functions. A 0.45L brew boiler and 1.05L steam boiler are each controlled independently through dedicated PID systems, giving users more precise control over brewing and steaming temperatures during daily use. Combined with the rotary pump and optional plumbed water connection, the Matrix is designed around smoother and more capable long-term home espresso workflow.
Classic E61 Performance with Modern Control
At the centre of the Matrix is a traditional E61 group head designed to maintain stable brewing temperatures through continuous water circulation within the group. The touchscreen display allows adjustment of boiler temperatures, pre-infusion settings, and machine functions through a more modern interface while still retaining the tactile feel of a lever-operated E61 espresso machine. The illuminated side panels can also be customised directly through the display, allowing the machine’s appearance to be adjusted to suit different spaces or setups.
Built for Daily Milk and Espresso Preparation
The Matrix combines commercial-inspired workflow features with a more refined home-focused layout. The rotary pump provides quieter operation than vibration pump systems, while the insulated steam and hot water wands allow smoother milk preparation and everyday usability. A cup warmer, large 4L water tank, and included plumb-in capability support longer brewing sessions with fewer interruptions, making the Matrix well suited to users regularly preparing multiple milk-based drinks at home.

You agree to release Alternative Brewing from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, losses, costs and expenses, including financial and other consequential losses, made, suffered or incurred by you or any other person or entity as a result of your election to choose Authority to Leave for your delivery.
If you do not provide Alternative Brewing Authority to Leave for your delivery, you will have to be at your premises in order for the delivery to occur.
