Liquid mineral additives for coffee, the Apax Lab Mineral Concentrates are designed to change how brewed coffee tastes by adjusting the mineral content of your water. Added either before brewing or directly into the cup, they allow you to control acidity, sweetness, body and overall balance without changing your coffee or brew method. This gives you a more direct way to influence flavour, whether you’re working with different coffees or trying to get more out of a single setup.
Rather than affecting extraction itself, these concentrates work by altering how flavour is expressed once the coffee is brewed. By changing how compounds are perceived in the cup, they allow you to refine balance and improve clarity without needing to adjust grind size, dose, or technique. This makes them useful for dialling in recipes, correcting imbalances, or exploring how the same coffee presents under different mineral conditions with small, repeatable changes.
Tonik
Designed to increase perceived acidity and bring more structure to the cup. It works well with coffees that feel flat or muted, helping highlight brightness and improve separation between flavours. The result is a cleaner, more defined profile without adding harshness.
Jamm
Shifts the balance toward sweetness and weight, rounding out sharper coffees and adding depth to lighter profiles. It increases perceived body and smoothness, making it particularly effective for coffees that feel thin or overly bright.
Lylac
Focused on improving texture and aromatic expression. It softens acidity and brings forward more delicate notes, helping create a smoother, more refined cup. It works best with lighter or more complex coffees where subtlety matters.
Konflux
Designed as a testing and blending tool, allowing you to explore how different mineral balances interact. Rather than targeting a single outcome, it gives you a way to build and refine your own profiles, making it useful for learning and experimentation.

By providing Authority to Leave you agree that the parcel is deemed to have been received when left at your premises.
Alternative Brewing, and its agents/delivery partners associated with the delivery of your parcel, do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage that may result from you providing Authority to Leave for your delivery. You agree to release Alternative Brewing from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, losses, costs and expenses, including financial and other consequential losses, made, suffered or incurred by you or any other person or entity as a result of your election to choose Authority to Leave for your delivery.
If you do not provide Alternative Brewing Authority to Leave for your delivery, you will have to be at your premises in order for the delivery to occur.
